KARP’s mission is to raise awareness for radon induced lung cancer in Kentucky and that’s why, for National Radon Action Month, we are giving away 1000 home radon tests for free in the month of January. Request yours today.
What is Radon? Radon is an invisible, odorless, naturally occurring, radioactive gas responsible for an estimated 21,000 lung cancer deaths in America every year and the #2 cause of lung cancer after smoking.
Why Now? January is National Radon Action Month, when the EPA joins with States, Associations like KARP and national organizations like the American Lung Association, to spread the word about radon inducted lung cancer and the importance of testing homes for radon.
January is a great time to test because doors and windows are shut to keep out the cold, leading to test results that are likely to show a home’s maximum radon level. Testing is nothing to be intimidated by. The tests have easy to follow instructions.
What you don’t know can kill you. Request one of the 1000 free home radon tests.
